One of the realities of MFA and in fact all security measures is that it is possible to get locked out of your account. The point of web site security is to ensure you are who you claim to be. The fact is bad actors exist and they do try to get access to accounts for a variety of reasons. MFA as well as other security procedures are in place to prevent them from gaining access to your account. Sometimes those measures cause accounts to be locked.

If you get an email notifying you your account has been locked or if you see a notice on the screen informing you your account has been locked, the only way to get it unlocked is to contact PTC’s Customer Assistance Center at 1-877-736-6727 and when prompted, say “Transfer me to the Customer Assistance Center.” The agent will be able to assist you. Please note that PTC cannot unlock accounts via email; you must call so that your identity can be verified.

If you have additional questions, you can email us at “csm@paturnpike.com” or call our Customer Assistance Center at 1-877-736-6727 and say, “Transfer me to the Customer Assistance Center.”
