PTC Customer Portal for Existing Users

As part of the login process to the portal you will enter your username and password as normal; but then you will be prompted to “Enter security code”. This code will be automatically sent at that time to the email address we currently have on file. To gain access to the portal, you will need to retrieve that code from your email and enter it as instructed.

The code is good for five (5) minutes, so you need to enter it within five (5) minutes or you will have to enter your username and password again.

If for some reason you don’t get the code in your email you can hit the “request passcode” button and another code will be sent to you.

The most common reasons you would not receive the MFA code in your email are either:

1. Not waiting long enough

• It can take a minute or two for the MFA email to reach you. Sometime doing a “send/receive messages” on your email application can help

2. Email going to spam folder

• We know you would never intentionally place PTC email into the SPAM folder, but sometimes your email application is not as smart as you are… check your spam or junk mail folder

3. The email address on your contact is incorrect

• PTC’s MFA application sends the email to the email address on the contact that entered a correct username and password. If you aren’t sure what email address this is or know it could be incorrect contact the Customer Assistance Center (details below on how) and we can assist in sorting this out

Please note, if more than one person from your firm needs access to the portal, add each person to your account as a separate contact. Sharing log-in credentials is heavily discouraged.
